Spider's Den — Skavag

Dungeons · 5 champions

Upgraded
The Fight

Skavag + endless spiderlings: 6 spawn at round start, 2 per champion turn, 4 after her turn (10 cap). At the start of her turn she devours ALL living spiderlings — 3% MAX HP heal + permanent +10% ATK each — then can't devour again the following turn. She is IMMUNE to Heal Reduction (the heal can't be muted) AND fully CC-immune (Stun/Freeze/Sleep/Provoke/Fear/True Fear/Block Active, plus HP-exchange/-balance and cooldown-increase): deny devour by killing/CCing the SPIDERLINGS before her turn and TM-controlling HER. Her A1 Venom Spray AoE hits 15% harder on Poisoned targets — cleansing the lings' poison bites is damage mitigation, not just chip control; A2 Enfeeble (CD 4) AoE has a 70% chance to drain 30% TM and Sleeps anyone left at zero. Stage 20 = 200 RES → 225 ACC wall. Win condition: HP Burn on the SPIDERLINGS — per HellHades' HP Burn mechanic articles a burn ticks when its owner takes a turn, hitting every enemy for 3% of their own MAX HP, so each burning ling's turn costs Skavag 3% (a burn on the boss alone ticks only on HER turn). Ayumilove's Spider page does not state this directly, but its hard-mode line that burns on Tainted Spiderlings HEAL Tainted Skavag 1% each only makes sense if ling burns otherwise damage her. Dec DEF/Weaken do NOT boost the ticks (fixed % MAX HP) — they amplify the team's hit damage; Dec ACC mutes spiderling poison chip. Damage-based healing (Lifesteal sets AND any skill healing from damage inflicted) works at 35% against Skavag and her lings.

Affinity

Fixed cycle: Void 1/5/9/13/17/21, Magic 2/6/10/14/18/22/25, Force 3/7/11/15/19/23, Spirit 4/8/12/16/20/24 — the stage-20 wall is a SPIRIT stage and FOUR of the audit five are Force bodies (Geomancer, Gwyndolin, Gliseah, Rector), so they sit weak-affinity there and draw spiderling aggro (+30% damage taken). Katonn (Spirit) is neutral there and dislikes Magic stages. Morrigaine (Magic) is the only strong-affinity attacker the roster owns for stage 20/24 — first swap in on that wall.

Levers

  • 225 ACC is the stage-20 gate (200 RES + 25; ~250 for comfort) — Gwyndolin's +60 aura and A3 Inc ACC bridge most of it, gear covers the rest. In the Ideal comp (no Gwyndolin) that job passes to Keberon's A3, which grants all allies 50% Increase ACC before it attacks
  • Burn the SWARM, not (just) the boss: per HellHades' HP Burn mechanic articles a burn ticks on its owner's turn, hitting all enemies for 3% of their own MAX HP — 10 burning lings ≈ 30% of Skavag per rotation, while a boss-only burn ticks once per HER turn. THREE owned AoE burn sources: Searsha's A2 (80%, no attack, CD 3), Crypt-King Graal's A2 (75%, CD 4 — and his A3 extends every burn to 3 turns, an effect Ayumilove states cannot be resisted) and Keberon's A3 (75%, CD 4, +50% team Inc ACC, TM refund per burn). Devour eats burning lings, so recast right after Skavag's turn. Gwyndolin's A1 can extend the boss burn; Geomancer's single burn is a 75% roll on a booked-3 CD
  • Devour math: at her turn start she eats all LIVING spiderlings (3% heal + permanent +10% ATK each), then can't devour the next turn. NO Heal Red shortcut — she's immune. Deny it by killing or Freezing spiderlings pre-turn and TM-controlling her
  • Damage-based healing works at 35% vs Skavag and her spiderlings (boss passive — covers Lifesteal sets AND any skill that heals from damage inflicted, which includes Bad-el-Kazar's A1). Answer with healing that is NOT damage-based: Rector Drath's A2 heals all allies for 20% of HIS MAX HP and his passive heals veiled allies 10% of their MAX HP per turn; Keberon's passive heals him 20% MAX HP per burn activation; Maneater's and Paragon's [Unkillable] bypasses the tax entirely. Doompriest's Bolster (7.5% MAX-HP heal + 1 random debuff cleansed at the start of her turn) is the cleanse-first alternative
  • Stages 21–25: enemy-MAX-HP skill damage capped at 10%/hit AND boss TM-reduction halved — burn ticks stay uncapped and become THE damage. CC spiderlings freely for survival, but do NOT TM-reduce or mass-kill them off-cycle, and note that every FREEZE delays a burning ling's turn by one and therefore delays its tick: they must take turns to tick the burn
  • BUILD-STATE CONSTRAINT RETIRED 2026-09-01. The previous version of this lever read 'the only owned 6★ with any HP Burn is Geomancer, and his is single-target — so Team Now cannot run the burn engine at all and wins on HIT damage'. That was true on 2026-08-14 and stopped being true on 2026-08-26, when KEBERON THE UNDERFLAME reached 6★ during the Ice Golem audit. He is now seated in Team Now and the burn engine — this dungeon's win condition — is live today. The two remaining AoE burn engines are still 5★: CRYPT-KING GRAAL (#12) and SEARSHA (#18). Searsha is the one that still changes the comp, because her burns are protected on bosses and her A2 strips buffs without attacking; Graal is now the LOWEST priority of the three here, since his A3 Freezes burning enemies and a frozen ling does not take its turn, so its burn does not tick.
  • CHEAPEST UPGRADE, RE-DERIVED 2026-09-01: no longer Katonn's books. Katonn left the five when Keberon took the burn seat, and Keberon lands the same 60% Decrease DEF on his A1 at 75% where Katonn's unbooked A2 is a 45% coin flip — so the ~3 Legendary tomes that were earmarked for Hex of Years should go elsewhere. The cheapest real upgrade now is ascending ARTAK (#3), who is the only detonator on the roster and the single biggest damage change this dungeon can get.
  • Stage 20 is a SPIRIT stage and four of the five Team Now seats are Force — swap Morrigaine (Magic, HH 9/10) in for Katonn on stages 20 and 24 to stop giving the swarm a +30% damage-taken target on every body
  • Roster gap CLOSED TWICE for stage 20. (2026-07-26) ROYAL GUARD — his A2 hits every enemy for 10% of their own MAX HP. (2026-08-10) COLDHEART, three copies, the same archetype at RARE cost: HH 10/10, and Heartseeker fully depletes Skavag's Turn Meter while scaling damage off enemy MAX HP. Both are build targets rather than fielded seats (Royal Guard 6★ BUILT, Coldheart 3★/queue #5). SCOPE LIMIT: a STAGE-20 accelerator, not an endgame plan — 21–25 caps enemy-MAX-HP damage at 10%/hit and halves boss TM reduction, nerfing both of Coldheart's strengths at once
  • HARD MODE WARNING: none of this transfers to Tainted Skavag — she is immune to HP Burn herself and HEALS 1% of her MAX HP per burn tick on her lings, immune to TM reduction AND Dec SPD, and the damage plan inverts: each spiderling KILL costs her 3% MAX HP (~350 ACC target for boss-facing debuffs). Answer: the 'Hard mode — Akemtum poison echo' alt
  • SOURCE NOTE on Bad-el-Kazar (6★, in the swaps): both sources rate him well here — Ayumilove Spider 5★, HellHades 8/10 — but his A1 heals 'by 20% of the damage inflicted', so the headline team heal is taxed to 35% against Skavag and her lings. Bring him for A2 Malice (full-team cleanse + two Continuous Heals + AoE Poison) and the +20% team damage into Poisoned targets, not for the A1 heal

Swaps

  • Armanz the MagnificentM

HIS BEST DUNGEON, and unusually the rating survives scrutiny (audit 2026-09-01). Fresh HH 10/10 Spider normal, 8/10 hard. His A2 Greatest Hits steals ALL Turn Meter from every target and Stuns everyone not under Sheep — against a ten-spiderling swarm that is real mass control, even though the Stun and Sheep are dead on Skavag herself and his A1 cooldown-push is blocked by her immunity. Worth a proper seat evaluation once he is 6★; he is 5★ (queue #2) and needs ACC on every line of his kit.

  • The Cowardly LionM

BENCH, WITH ONE REAL USE (audit 2026-09-01). HellHades gives him 9/10 but Skavag is fully CC-immune with Fear and True Fear named explicitly, so A2's True Fear, A1's Fear-stacking damage bonus and his True Courage passive are all dead — the same disqualification as Clan Boss and Dragon. UNLIKE those fights, he is not worthless here: A3 Strength in the Pack puts [Counterattack] on the whole team, and against an endless spiderling swarm that is a genuine extra-hit engine. Suggested rating: 4, with the Fear caveat recorded. 5★.

  • ArtakM

THE BIGGEST SPIDER UPGRADE THE ACCOUNT CAN BUILD (audit 2026-09-01). Fresh HH 10/10 Spider AND 10/10 Spider Hard. This dungeon's win condition is HP Burn on the SWARM — a burn ticks when its owner takes a turn and hits every enemy for 3% of their own MAX HP — and Artak is the only champion owned who does not have to wait for those turns: A2 Dogs Of War instantly ACTIVATES every HP Burn on the enemy team, so a fully burning swarm detonates in a single press. He also plants the burns (A3, 75% AoE, CD 4), extends them (A1, 35%), and lands a 75% AoE 50% Decrease ATK on the same A2. Burn ticks are NOT capped by the stage 21-25 enemy-MAX-HP cap, so this scales into the hardest stages. HE ALSO FIXES THE COMP'S INTERNAL CONFLICT: every Freeze delays a burning ling's turn and therefore its tick, so control and damage currently fight each other — detonation removes that dependency. 5★, queue #3. DO NOT pair with Khamir Scald-Eye in any comp.

  • MorrigaineM

First swap in on the Spirit stage-20/24 wall, where her Magic body is the only strong-affinity attacker this roster can field against a four-Force main five. HH 9/10 (higher than Katonn's 7/10) — she sits out of the main five on role, not quality: Geomancer's full TM depletion already denies devour, and with no burn engine the fifth non-sustain seat has to be AoE damage + shred. A3 Velocimancy (CD 5): 75% AoE −20% enemy TM + 20% ally TM fill + 30% Inc SPD; A2 Shriek converts to a 50% Dec ACC on a boss target (real: it mutes Enfeeble's TM drain). Her Heal-Red passive is blank here — Skavag is immune. Aura +19% Ally SPD in all battles.

  • Stag KnightS

The Katonn seat's closest challenger, and ahead of him on HH (8/10 vs 7/10): A2 Huntmaster is a 70% chance of BOTH a 60% Dec DEF and a 50% Dec ATK on CD 4 — nearly double Katonn's unbooked 45% shred chance, with mitigation attached, and Epic tomes (pool #10, 'book-now') are cheaper than Katonn's Legendary ones. Loses the seat only on wave clear: his A1 is single-target where Katonn's is a free AoE every turn. Passive grants an ally 50% Inc ACC whenever their debuff is resisted. Ayumi Spider 4★. 6★ already.

  • JintoroM

NEW 2026-08-14 intake, and the strongest future answer to the Katonn seat — HH 10/10 Spider, tied for the highest score on the roster. Ayumilove-verified kit: A1 Soul Drinker grants an EXTRA TURN on a kill, which on a ten-body spiderling swarm chains turns the way no other owned body can; A2 Blood Freeze steals 100% of the target's Turn Meter (a third devour lock beside Geomancer and Maneater) and, against a TM-immune target, cuts A3's cooldown instead; A3 Oni's Rage lands 60% Dec DEF + 25% Weaken on CD 4 and hits FIVE times on every fourth use against the same target — the exact shred package Katonn only reaches with ~3 Legendary tomes. Passive Vigorous amplifies every Turn Meter fill he receives by 50%, which stacks with Gliseah's A3 fill. Aura +29% Ally ATK in all battles. Two caveats: his A2 TM steal is halved against the boss on stages 21–25, and his kill-chaining removes the bodies that tick burns, so he belongs to the hit-damage plan, not the Ideal burn comp. 5★, queue #11 — promote him and the Katonn seat resolves itself.

  • Keberon the UnderflameF

SEATED IN TEAM NOW (audit 2026-09-01) — see his slot. 6★ BUILT as of 2026-08-26; the record previously carried him at 5★, queue #6, as the highest-impact promotion for this dungeon. That promotion has happened, he has left the build queue, and he took Suzerain Katonn's seat. HH 10/10 Spider — tied for the highest score on the roster.

  • SpiderF

OUT of Team Ideal in the 2026-08-14 audit, replaced by Keberon — not a downgrade of the champion, a fit call. His two contributions to a burn comp are the +25% Ally SPD dungeon aura and AoE Dec DEF, but burn ticks are fixed % MAX HP and Dec DEF does nothing for them, while the Ideal's recorded cost of dropping Gwyndolin was the ACC wall — which Keberon's 50% Inc ACC covers directly. Still the pick when the plan is hit damage and the team needs tempo: A3 60% chance of AoE 60% Dec DEF (100% booked), A2 50% chance of AoE 50% Dec ATK, A1 snipes a single buff. HH 9/10. 4★ and still not in the 6★ queue at all.

  • Stonebound ThisbeS

NEW 2026-08-14 intake — HH 7/10 Spider, but the relevant number is her aura: +40 Ally ACC in ALL battles, the second-largest owned behind Gwyndolin's +60. That is the one thing that could let the Ideal burn comp keep its ACC without a Gwyndolin seat if Keberon is parked. A2 lands AoE [Hex] + [Block Buffs] at 75%, A3 cuts a turn off every ally debuff, heals the team 15% MAX HP (MAX-HP-based, so tax-proof here) and fills all ally Turn Meters 20%, and her passive gives every ally +10% damage into enemies carrying HER debuffs. 4★, queue #15.

  • SiegehulkM

NEW 2026-08-14 intake — HH 8/10 Spider: A2 Thrashing Fit self-buffs 50% ATK then hits every enemy with a 75% chance of 60% Decrease DEF, which is a more reliable shred than Katonn's unbooked 45% on a cheaper body, and his A1 cuts 15% Turn Meter off anything already slowed or shredded. Behind Stag Knight and Jintoro for the seat and not in the 6★ queue — his intake verdict routes him to the Ogryn Tribes crypt.

  • Searsha the CharredF

Burn engine #1 and a Team Ideal seat. HH 10/10 Spider AND 10/10 Spider Hard. A2 Forest Fire (CD 3) strips all buffs and applies AoE HP Burn at 80% (100% booked) WITHOUT attacking; her Stoked passive gives allies +10% damage vs burning enemies and heals the team when burning enemies attack her; A3 Blazing Panic now carries the 60% Dec DEF post-v11.65.0. Queue #18 — the lowest-ranked of the three burn engines despite being engine #1, worth revisiting.

  • Crypt-King GraalM

Burn engine #2 and a Team Ideal seat. HH 10/10 Spider and 10/10 Spider Hard. A2 Death Fires (CD 4) attacks all enemies with a 75% chance of HP Burn for 2 turns; A3 Elemental Unity (CD 4) attacks all enemies, Freezes every target already burning, and EXTENDS all HP Burns to 3 turns — and Ayumilove's page now states verbatim that this effect CANNOT BE RESISTED (the earlier 'unverified' caveat is resolved in his favour). A1 lands 50% Dec ATK at 60%, 100% against burning or frozen targets. Aura +33% Ally HP in all battles — the Ideal's leader. Tension to run manually: his A3 freeze delays a burning ling's turn, and a delayed turn is a delayed tick; the 3-turn extension on the same cast roughly pays for it. Queue #12.

  • ManeaterV

HH 10/10 Spider and the IDEAL's Unkillable seat over Paragon. A3 Ancient Blood puts [Unkillable] and [Block Debuffs] on the WHOLE team for 2 turns: heal-tax-proof sustain for five champions instead of Paragon's self/ally, and the Block Debuffs half blanks the Sleep rider on Enfeeble. A2 Syphon fully depletes Skavag's TM into his own — a second devour lock. A1 lands AoE 50% Dec ATK on any crit. Costs 5% of his MAX HP per living ally per cast, and the 35% damage-based-healing tax makes that slow to recover, so build HP and skip Lifesteal. A3's two Cooldown −1 books (7→5) are mandatory. CONTESTED: he is also the backup Clan Boss anchor (queue #4) — one build, two claims.

  • ColdheartV

THREE copies — HH 10/10 Spider and the enemy-MAX-HP archetype the levers named as the roster's gap since July. A3 Heartseeker fully depletes Skavag's Turn Meter (devour denial), carries +30% extra crit chance and scales its damage off the ENEMY's MAX HP, so it kills bosses regardless of gear quality; CD 5, books to 4. A2 Art of Pain is her only AoE and its 50% Dec ACC is a 30% roll for 1 turn. Her A1 Heal Reduction is DEAD here: Skavag is immune. Rare, so the cheapest 6★ on the account. Scope limit: stages 21–25 cap MAX-HP skill damage at 10%/hit AND halve boss TM reduction, nerfing both of her strengths — she is the stage-20 farm card, not the 21–25 plan. Paper HP/DEF; seat her behind the freeze. Queue #5.

  • Royal GuardM

The enemy-MAX-HP archetype Ayumilove's Spider guide names by name alongside Coldheart for stages 15–20. A2 Takedown (CD 4) attacks ALL enemies for 2 ATK + 0.1 ENEMY MAX HP — one-shots spiderlings and chunks Skavag in the same cast. A3 hits 4× at random, each hit a 60% chance of 30% Dec SPD and a 60% chance of −25% TM. Aura: +35% Ally ATK in Dungeons. HH 9/10 Spider, 9/10 Spider Hard. Caveat for a burn comp: mass-killing lings removes the bodies that tick the burns — he is the MAX-HP-nuke plan, not an add-on to the burn plan. 6★ BUILT.

  • Ursala the MournerV

HH 9/10 Spider. Full-team revive with 50% Turn Meter plus 60% Inc DEF and Strengthen, on a 6-turn cooldown (5 booked), and her A2 pairs AoE 50% Dec ATK with a team Inc ATK. The revive is genuine insurance on a fight that punishes one bad Enfeeble, and none of her healing is damage-based. Behind the seated bodies only on build state (4★, queue #13).

  • DemythaV

HH 9/10 Spider. A3 gives the whole team [Block Damage] for 1 turn plus a 15% Continuous Heal, and her A2 extends ally buffs, cuts ally debuff durations and heals — none of it damage-based, so the 35% heal tax does not touch it. A real alternative to Rector Drath in the sustain seat. Held out of every Spider card because her build is claimed by the Clan Boss unkillable comp — she is 6★ BUILT and seated there — and Block Damage on a 3-turn cycle is worth far more inside a tune than on auto here.

  • Miscreated MonsterM

HH 10/10 Spider (Ayumi 4★): A2 AoE Stuns the swarm at 50% AND shields the whole team for 25% of the damage dealt, which is real mitigation against ling chip that damage-based healing only covers at 35% here. HP-scaled, so he survives the bites. 4★, queue #16.

  • PsylarV

HH 9/10 Spider. Her A2 Toxic Cloud is the RELIABLE version of the 'Dec ACC mutes spiderling poison chip' lever: AoE 50% Decrease ACC at 80% for 2 turns, where Coldheart's equivalent is a 30% roll for 1. HARD CAVEAT for the burn plan: her A3 cuts 40% Turn Meter off ALL enemies including the spiderlings, and on stages 21–25 the lings must TAKE TURNS to tick the burns — she actively fights the win condition there. Use her on stage 20 and below, or not at all.

  • ShirimaniF

HH 9/10 Spider: an 80% AoE Freeze stops the ling flood outright and her A2 heals through the bites (her heal scales off the ALLY's MAX HP, so the 35% damage-heal tax does not touch it). HARD CAVEAT, same as Gliseah's and Graal's: burns tick when their owner takes a turn, so freezing lings DELAYS ticks — bring her when survival is the problem, not when burn throughput is. Note her HH Spider HARD rating is only 2/10. Queue #20.

  • Countess LixM

HH 10/10 Spider (queue #21): A2 triple-hit AoE Dec SPD + TM drain slows the ling flood while A3 shaves 1 turn off every ally cooldown (not a full refresh) to keep the AoE burns and shreds cycling — the cooldown compression is worth more inside the Ideal burn comp than the raw rating suggests.

  • Shu-Zhen the ValorousV

HH 10/10 Spider (6★ BUILT): ±20% TM swing + Dec SPD keeps Skavag off-turn; SPD→ACC passive hits the debuff floor for free. Spider HARD 2/10 — a normal-mode card only.

  • ParagonV

OUT of the main five — build state, not kit. HH 10/10 and formerly a Team Ideal seat, but he is still a 3★ Rare: no HP pool to bait the swarm with and, unbooked, A2 Damage Control is a 4-turn cooldown on a 2-turn [Unkillable], so the loop has holes exactly when it matters. Fully built (6★ + both A2 Cooldown −1 books) the cooldown drops to 2 and the Unkillable becomes permanent — the only sustain that ignores the 35% damage-healing tax entirely. Still the budget version of Maneater's seat. Not in data/priority.json's 6★ queue.

  • Bad-el-KazarF

CORRECTED 2026-08-14 — a previous note claimed his A1 team heal 'sidesteps the 35% damage-heal tax'. It does not: HellHades' own skill data reads 'Attacks all enemies. Heals this champion and all allies by 20% of the damage inflicted', which is exactly the damage-based healing Skavag's passive taxes to 35%. His RATING is fine — Ayumilove gives him Spider 5★ and HellHades 8/10 (an earlier flag in this record misread Ayumi's ★1 for Nether Spider as his Spider score; withdrawn). So he is a strong body here whose headline heal is the one that gets taxed: what carries the seat is A2 Malice — removes all debuffs from all allies, two 15% Continuous Heals (not damage-based), and two 5% Poisons on all enemies, CD 5 (→3 booked) — a cleanse for the lings' poison bites, plus his passive giving every ally +20% damage into Poisoned targets. 6★ built.

  • Dhukk the PiercedM

Spider 5★: AoE Dec ATK + crit-proc Dec DEF every 3 turns on a DEF-scaling body that survives the bites. Queue #25

  • Sir ArtimageF

Spider 5★ (HH 9/10): A1 carries 60% Dec DEF + 30% Dec SPD, A2 self-cleanses the bite debuffs before AoEing the lings.

  • AnaxS

Boss-focused shred: single-target Dec DEF on his A1 spam + Weaken; ACC-geared 6★ body if Katonn is parked elsewhere. HH 7/10.

  • Skimfos the ConsumedV

Debuff hoover (spider 5): transfers the lings' poisons OFF allies onto himself, then heals 5% MAX HP per debuff he carries at the start of EVERY turn; A3 dumps them back and steals 100% TM — only on a crit, so build C.RATE. Caution: AyumiLove commenters report the TM-steal counterattack issue vs (Nether) Spider — manual care.

  • AlureM

Premier boss TM-cut A1 (25% per crit × 3 hits, bookless) — pure devour denial, with A2 AoE Dec DEF + Sleep on the swarm; Spider 4; 6★ BUILT. Stage ≤20 tech: 21–25 halves boss TM cuts.

  • Hilda ArnorndottrF

AoE Stun silences a spiderling wave before devour — CC is HH's top 21–25 recommendation. (Her Heal Reduction is dead weight here: Skavag is immune.) Queue #24

  • SachiF

AoE Dec ACC makes spiderling poisons miss more + 50% team ATK + TM fill on crit.

  • DoompriestF

HH 8/10 — level with Rector Drath. Per-turn AoE cleanse strips poison stacks and her Bolster passive heals 7.5% MAX HP (not damage-based); bookless. The Rector alternative on poison-heavy stages, though she heals far less.

  • Kurzad DeepheartV

Team Inc ACC 50% + AoE Dec DEF if still short of the 225 wall (3★).

  • DilgolV

Budget AoE 50% Dec ACC + Dec SPD spiderling mute (3★).

  • ExcruciatorM

Unveiled A2 = TM deplete, capped at 50% on bosses — and 21–25 halves boss TM-reduction on top; stage ≤20 tech only.

  • Rugnor GoldgleamV

Near-permanent 60% Dec DEF loop (manual, 4★); one of fourteen spider-5 bodies.

  • Xanthe SeaflowerF

A2 AoE 75% chance of 50% Dec ATK, healing the team 5% of her MAX HP per debuff landed — sustain that scales with the swarm and is NOT damage-based; Spider 4 both sources.

  • LocwainM

A3 ignores Shield and resets on kill — spiderling execution loop; Spider 4 (HH).

  • HotatsuM

Dec ATK + DEF aura + team heal takes the sting out of spiderling chip; Spider 4. Queue #22

  • SineshaF

Spider 5★: AoE A1 + sub-50% execute chews lings; HP-equalize resets bite chip. S-tier epic (Ayumi).

  • Grizzled JarlM

Spider 5★ (HH 9/10): AoE Dec ATK + MAX-HP strip chews spiderlings; DEF-scaling body survives the bites.

  • KunoichiF

AoE Leech at 75% on a DEF-scaled body: damage-based healing works at only 35% vs Skavag, and Leech is a debuff on the enemy rather than a heal on you, so it partially routes around that tax. Ayumi 5★.

  • Fodbor the BardS

    HH 9/10: triple-hit A1, AoE 60% Dec DEF, and an 80% two-buff steal that converts to a Stun on a buff-less target. Queue #30

  • Rhaia the MournedV

6★ Legendary — HH 8/10 Spider (Ayumi 4★): A3 hits every enemy 3× and each hit steals a buff, which chews the ling swarm, and A1's Extra-Turn-on-kill lets her clear multiple lings per turn. Her self-heal is damage-based, so it is taxed to 35% here.

  • Kellan the ShrikeM

HH 9/10 Spider: A2 double-hit cuts 50% Turn Meter and lands 30% Dec SPD (both book to 100%) while self-Veiling, and A3's AoE grows 5% per debuff on the target.

Alternative Comps

Ideal (fully built)

dream team

If every owned champ were 6★, booked and geared. REBUILT 2026-09-01 around Artak's mass burn detonation. Build gap is two ascensions: Artak 5★ and Searsha 5★.

ARTAK IS THE MASS DETONATOR THIS COMP WAS MISSING, and Spider is the one fight in the game where that matters: A2 Dogs Of War instantly ACTIVATES EVERY HP Burn on the enemy team before it attacks, so against a full swarm one press fires eleven burn activations at once instead of one. He plants the burns himself (A3 Purifyre, 75% AoE, CD 4), A1 has a 35% chance to extend every burn by a turn, and the same A2 lands a 75% AoE 50% Decrease ATK. His passive destroys 5% of his own MAX HP per burn activation to a 50% cap, converting into +50% DMG, +50% C.DMG, +50% DEF, +100 SPD and +100 RES — on this fight he caps almost immediately. Fresh HH 10/10 Spider AND 10/10 Spider Hard. HE ALSO RESOLVES THE FREEZE/BURN TENSION the levers name: burns pay only when their owner takes a turn, so every Freeze delays a tick — detonation removes that dependency entirely, and control stops fighting the damage plan. CRYPT-KING GRAAL IS OUT for exactly that reason (his A3 Freezes every burning enemy, which IS the anti-synergy) plus burn redundancy beside Keberon and Artak. MANEATER IS OUT for Rector Drath: 4★ against 6★, and Skavag's 35% damage-based-healing tax makes Rector's A2 — 20% of HIS MAX HP, not damage-based — the reliable sustain. AURA FLIPS TO SEARSHA (+19% Ally SPD in all battles): under the old plan ally speed did nothing for burn ticks, because burns tick on the ENEMY's turn — but with Artak detonating, ally speed converts straight into detonations. Keberon's 28% Ally ATK is the fallback if the comp leans back on hit damage. NEVER pair Artak with Khamir Scald-Eye: Khamir's A1 restores destroyed MAX HP to all allies every turn and erases Artak's entire passive.

Hard mode — Akemtum poison echo

Tainted Skavag cheese

Hard-mode Spider (Tainted Skavag), where the normal burn plan inverts: she's burn/TM/Dec-SPD-immune, but every spiderling DEATH costs her 3% MAX HP.

The engine is Akemtum's Hex Blood passive (booked 100%): whenever ANY enemy takes Poison damage, every enemy under [Hex] takes that same tick's damage. A poison tick on the BOSS is 5% of HER max HP — a number that one-shots every hexed spiderling, and each ling death then costs her another 3%. So each of her own turns: her poison ticks → the echo wipes the hexed swarm → ~30% of her HP gone + no lings left to devour. Seats: Akemtum = irreplaceable passive + A2 AoE Hex; run him SLOWEST so his hex catches respawned lings each cycle. Supreme Kael = the detonator: UNRESISTIBLE AoE poisons stick to the boss with zero ACC — sidesteps the ~350 hard-mode wall entirely. Searsha = opening AoE Hex on her A3 (DISABLE her A2 on auto: Ayumilove states that when an HP Burn is activated on Tainted Spiderlings it HEALS Tainted Skavag by 1% of her MAX HP). Apothecary = fast Inc SPD/TM cycler — every ally turn spawns 2 lings, and lings are the ammunition. Doompriest = per-turn AoE cleanse for Torpefy's Sleep/stun and the lings' poisons (also mutes Caustic Webbing's +15% vs poisoned). Affinity bonus: hard 10 is a MAGIC stage — this five is all Void/Force/neutral, no weak hits. Only the hexers need ACC (hex lands on LINGS, not the boss; ~300 comfortable). Swaps: Urticata (A2 Poison Sensitivity may fatten the echoed tick + 15% all-battle SPD aura), Frozen Banshee/Anax (budget poisoners if S. Kael is parked), High Khatun/Morrigaine (cycler seat; her boss TM cut is blank here anyway). Popularized by raid content creators c.2023-24; mechanics re-verified 2026-07.

Stage 20 speed-farm (enemy-MAX-HP)

max-hp nuke

Farming stage 20 for gear income, once Coldheart and Royal Guard are built. NOT for 21–25 — that ladder caps enemy-MAX-HP skill damage at 10%/hit and halves boss TM reduction, which is exactly what this comp sells.

Both sources name enemy-MAX-HP damage as the fastest route through stage 20, and the account owns two of the archetype. COLDHEART (HH 10/10 Spider): A3 Heartseeker fully strips Skavag's Turn Meter — a second devour lock beside Geomancer's — takes +30% crit chance and scales its damage off her MAX HP; A1 hits 4× at random for swarm chip. She is a RARE, so this is the cheapest 6★ in the plan and you own three copies. ROYAL GUARD (HH 9/10 here, 9/10 Spider Hard): A2 Takedown hits EVERY enemy for 10% of their own MAX HP, deleting a full spiderling wave and chunking the boss in one cast. GWYNDOLIN LEADS for +60 Ally ACC in all battles — the 225 stage-20 wall is why this comp runs on ordinary gear, and her A3 adds 50% Increase ACC on top. GEOMANCER holds the TM-denial + burn-deflect seat unchanged. RECTOR DRATH is the sustain, because the 35% damage-based-healing tax guts Lifesteal and this comp has no Unkillable bait — his A2 heals off HIS MAX HP, not off damage dealt. AFFINITY NOTE: stage 20 is a Spirit stage, and Royal Guard (Magic) is the only strong-affinity body in this five — consider Morrigaine over Coldheart there. CAVEATS: Coldheart's base HP and DEF are terrible and she must sit behind the freeze/heal, and her A1 Heal Reduction is DEAD on Skavag, who is immune — do not gear ACC for that rider, only for the A2 Dec ACC chip. Build bill: Coldheart 3★→6★ (queue #5, Rare tomes), Royal Guard 6★ BUILT (A2 Takedown books next).
