The named double-payoff pull: A3 Ancient Blood gives the whole team [Unkillable] + [Block Debuffs] for 2 turns (he eats 5% MAX HP per living ally to pay for it), A2 fully strips a target's Turn Meter and pours it into his own, and his A1 lands AoE 50% [Decrease ATK] on any critical hit. 33% Ally HP aura in dungeons.
priority.json's openQuestions named him outright: 'When shard-buying resumes: Maneater is the double-payoff target — completes the budget Unkillable CB comp (with Seeker + Pain Keeper) AND is the 5th Ogryn body for the FW crypt.' The Ogryn body-count half is now moot (that crypt reached nine bodies in the July intake), but the Clan Boss half is exactly as stated, and Seeker + Pain Keeper + Warcaster are all owned.

BuildBuild him as the unkillable ANCHOR, not the ATK nuker Ayumilove templates — the A3 is why he was the account's named shard target. SPD is tuned to the Clan Boss rotation he anchors (Ancient Blood must land before the boss's AoE, every cycle), HP is both his durability and his damage stat, and C.RATE matters for one specific reason: the A1's AoE Decrease ATK only fires on a critical hit. ACC only if you want that Dec ATK to stick through boss resistance. His A3 self-damage scales with living allies, so more HP is strictly better.
