The Fight

Poison/DoT race. Swipe puts a 50% Decrease ATK on your whole team and Wall of Fire (cd 3) stacks two 5% Poisons + 25% Weaken on you — but poison ticks don't scale with ATK, so a DoT team sidesteps the choke. Dec ATK on the BOSS is still the key survival debuff, with Weaken (+ Poison Sensitivity) amplifying the poison ticks and Dec DEF the direct hits. Almighty Immunity: no Stun/Freeze/Sleep/Provoke/Block Active Skills/Fear, no HP exchange or balance, no cooldown increase. Almighty Persistence halves all Turn Meter reduction and Decrease SPD never sticks — speed your own team instead. Almighty Strength caps MAX-HP-scaling damage at 10% of his HP per hit (standard 5% poisons unaffected). BOTH modes have the purple-bar check: Inhale (normal) / Draconic Gaze (hard) empties Turn Meter and unlocks a secret skill — burst the marked HP chunk before his next turn and the skill re-locks. Normal Scorch = AoE + a resistible 1-turn Stun. HARD MODE (Ayumilove guide, updated 2026-08-17): Draconic Gaze empties your whole team's Turn Meter and unlocks Toxic Incineration, which deals heavy MAX-HP-based AoE damage, lands an UNAVOIDABLE 1-turn Stun, and INSTANTLY ACTIVATES every Poison on your champions — against the doubled application (four 5% Poisons from Wall of Fire) that is the fight's real kill mechanic, so a cleanse must land BEFORE it, not after. Tainted Hellrazor also places a 50% Increase ATK buff on HIMSELF for 2 turns, which is the one place Block Buffs earns a slot — normal-mode Hellrazor places no buffs at all. Ayumilove wants 300+ RES on supports by stage 20.

Affinity

Affinity rotates by stage — CHECK before each run (the big gotcha). Supreme Kael and Akemtum are Void so they never take a weak hit; Frozen Banshee and Royal Guard are Magic, Bad-el-Kazar is Force. The boss can't be slowed (Dec SPD immune, TM reduction halved), so tune your own SPD up rather than trying to control him.

Levers

  • BOOKS ARE THE WHOLE GAP (audit 2026-08-19, updated when Royal Guard was seated): Team Now and Team Ideal are now the same five champions, so nothing separates them but booking. FROZEN BANSHEE A3 FROST BLIGHT (CD 5→3) is the single most valuable action on this dungeon — her A1 poisons cannot land at all without live Poison Sensitivity, and with Gwyndolin benched her extend-all is no longer patching the 3-turn hole; only Supreme Kael's unresistible +1 turn (CD 4) covers it. Then Akemtum A2 Hex (CD 5→3, chance to 100%), then Royal Guard's A1 Dec DEF chance books. Account-wide only Kael and Aox are fully booked.
  • Don't waste a slot slowing the Dragon (Dec SPD immune; TM cuts 50% weaker under Almighty Persistence) — stack SPD on your team to take more turns. High Khatun / Apothecary swap in for faster normal-mode farming.
  • Poison sidesteps his Dec ATK choke — ticks don't scale with ATK. Weaken and Poison Sensitivity amplify the ticks; Dec DEF only amps direct hits. Keep Aox's Dec ATK purely as hit-damage mitigation.
  • Purple bar is a DAMAGE CHECK in both modes: burst the marked HP chunk before his next turn and the secret skill re-locks. ROYAL GUARD now holds that seat — Takedown is 2 ATK + 0.1 enemy MAX HP AoE, landing exactly at the Almighty Strength cap, with the MAX-HP half independent of his gear. Gwyndolin's crit burst is the hard-mode and debuff-clock alternative. Myciliac Priest Orn's A2 is the third answer — it instantly ACTIVATES up to two poisons, converting queued ticks into immediate damage (4★, queue #31).
  • HARD MODE, re-sourced 2026-08-19: Toxic Incineration instantly ACTIVATES every Poison on your champions on top of the doubled application (four 5% Poisons) and an unavoidable Stun, so the cleanse has to land BEFORE it. Bad-el-Kazar's A2 (all debuffs, all allies) is the seated answer; Doompriest's bookless per-turn passive cleanse is the second body; Ostrox Boneglaive's A3 removes 1 random debuff from all allies and adds 50% Inc ACC. 300+ RES on supports at stage 20 (Ayumilove). BLOCK BUFFS IS HARD-MODE-ONLY TECH: normal Hellrazor places no buffs on himself at all, but Tainted Hellrazor self-applies 50% Increase ATK for 2 turns — that single line is what earns Ostrox his 10/10 Dragon Hard rating.
  • ACC gates the whole plan (~180 for D20, more on hard) — a resisted Poison/Weaken/Dec ATK is a wasted turn. With Gwyndolin benched the lead is FROZEN BANSHEE's +35 Ally ACC in all battles (she is already seated, so benching Gwyndolin cost 25 aura ACC, not 60), backed by Supreme Kael's A3 pre-cast 50% Increase ACC every 4 turns. The roster's other all-battles ACC auras are Gwyndolin +60 and Ostrox +40. Once every body clears its ACC target from gear, move the lead to Akemtum's 18% SPD: poison ticks neither crit nor scale with ATK, so SPD is the only aura that grows the engine.
  • DEBUFF-CAP CONTENTION: Frozen Banshee (2/turn) + Supreme Kael (3) + Bad-el-Kazar (2) is up to 7 live Poisons before Poison Sensitivity, Weaken, Hex, Dec RES, Dec ACC and Leech — at or past the 10-debuff cap. Don't add a fourth poison applier; hold Bad-el-Kazar's A2 for the cleanse timing rather than spamming it for the poisons.
  • The poison core is built: Frozen Banshee (6★) + Akemtum (6★) + Supreme Kael (6★) displace Kael-as-carry — Banshee stacks 2×5% poisons/turn under Poison Sensitivity, Akemtum's Hex re-fires every tick at 80%, Supreme Kael's poisons can't be resisted at all.
  • PREY UPON DOES NOT AMPLIFY TAKEDOWN'S BEST HALF: Bad-el-Kazar's passive gives allies +20% damage against Poisoned targets, but Almighty Strength caps MAX-HP-scaling damage at 10% of the boss's HP per hit and Royal Guard's A2 already sits exactly at that cap — only its 2×ATK portion benefits. Worth knowing before pairing them for the purple-bar check.

Swaps

  • Armanz the MagnificentM

WAVE-CLEAR ONLY (audit 2026-09-01), and the record should say so rather than carry a flat 5. Against the boss his Turn Meter theft is HALVED by Almighty Persistence, his Stun and Sheep are crowd control (immune), and his A1's cooldown-increase is blocked outright — 'no cooldown increase' is in the Almighty Immunity list. The single thing that works on the boss is his 75% all-enemy buff strip, which answers Tainted Hellrazor's self-cast 50% Increase ATK. HellHades' 9/10 is earned on the wave stages. Suggested rating: 3, with a wave-clear note.

  • The Cowardly LionM

DO NOT FIELD (audit 2026-09-01). HellHades gives him 9/10 normal and 9/10 hard, but FEAR IS NAMED EXPLICITLY IN HELLRAZOR'S ALMIGHTY IMMUNITY LIST (this record's own fight prose, from Ayumilove's guide): A2's 75% AoE True Fear cannot land, A1's '+10% per skill activated under Fear' damage bonus can never start, and his True Courage passive needs Fear placed ON him. What is left is a 4×DEF AoE plus team Increase DEF / Counterattack / Reflect — real, but not a seat in a poison race. Suggested rating: 3.

  • Khamir Scald-EyeM

THE NORMAL-MODE TEMPO SWAP (new 2026-09-01), replacing Apothecary and High Khatun. The levers already name the answer to Almighty Persistence: you cannot slow the Dragon, so stack your own SPD. Khamir does it three ways at once — 20% Ally SPD aura in ALL battles, a 30% Increase SPD buff, and a 25% ally Turn Meter fill on A2 (CD 5, →3 booked) — and adds 50% Increase ATK, a per-turn full-team heal off his own MAX HP (A1, no cooldown, which also restores destroyed MAX HP), and a full-team revive at 50% HP/TM. 6★ BUILT Legendary against a terminal-5★ Rare. HH 9/10 Dragon, 8/10 hard. NOT a boss-phase seat: no cleanse, no Decrease ATK and no DoT anywhere in his kit — the same gap the Ice Golem audit named.

  • Starsage GalathirF

SEATED in the hard-mode comp as LEADER (audit 2026-09-01) — see that alt for the full case. Fresh HH 10/10 Dragon and 10/10 Dragon Hard on a 10/10 overall body; 6★ Mythical needing only gear, books and awakening. NOT seated in the normal five because every seat there is a specialised poison-engine job and Bad-el-Kazar's Prey Upon (+20% ally damage against Poisoned targets) is the comp's only damage multiplier, which Galathir does not replicate. His 80 Ally RES aura in all battles is the direct answer to Ayumilove's 300+ RES requirement for supports at stage 20.

  • Gwyndolin the SilentF

OUT of the main five 2026-08-19 (Paul's call) when Royal Guard took the burst seat — a trade of debuff glue for raw purple-bar damage, made with eyes open. Bring her back in two situations. (1) HARD MODE, always: Ayumi 4★ / HH 8/10 against Royal Guard's 3★ / 7/10, and Toxic Incineration punishes a comp with less debuff glue. (2) When the DoT clock rather than the purple bar is what's failing: her A1 hits 3× with a 30% chance each to extend ALL debuffs, every turn, which is what stretches Frozen Banshee's Poison Sensitivity across the 3-turn hole her unbooked A3 leaves — book Banshee's A3 and this reason fades. Her +60 ACC all-battles aura is the roster's largest, so she also comes back if the ACC gate starts eating debuffs. Her A2's Dec SPD is dead here (immune) but still delivers Leech + 50% Dec ACC. 6★.

  • DemythaV

HH 9/10 Dragon (7/10 hard), 6★ built. A3 blankets the team in [Block Damage] plus a 15% Continuous Heal, and her A2 extends ally buffs while cutting a turn off every ally debuff and healing — the debuff-shortening half is exactly what the doubled hard-mode poison application asks for.

  • Rotos the Lost GroomM

NEW 2026-08-14 intake — HH 9/10 Dragon (7/10 hard). A2 Vitality Plunder cuts 20% off the target's MAX HP and adds it to his own, and A3 ignores 60% DEF plus Unkillable and Block Damage — single-target burst on a body that also survives the AoEs. 5★.

  • Rector DrathF

OUT of the main five in the 2026-08-19 audit — Bad-el-Kazar finished 6★ and beats him by two tiers in hard mode (HH 10/10 both modes vs 8/10 and 7/10; Ayumi 5★/5★ vs 5★/3★). Still the seat's insurance and the better pick when the run is dying to burst rather than to the poison clock: A2 heals all allies 20% of HIS MAX HP then Perfect Veils anyone at full HP, his passive heals veiled allies 10% MAX HP per turn AND gives them +50 RES (the stat Ayumilove's stage-20 note demands), and A3 revives at 60% HP + 60% TM — the only revive in the shortlist. 6★/a1.

  • Bad-el-KazarF

SEATED — 6★ built. HH 10/10 in both modes, Ayumi 5★/5★. A2 Malice cleanses ALL debuffs from all allies, adds two 15% Continuous Heals and two 5% Poisons; Prey Upon gives every ally +20% damage against Poisoned targets. See the levers for the one place that multiplier does NOT apply (Royal Guard's Takedown).

  • Aox the RemembererF

The old support seat — swap back in for hard-mode stages where AoE 50% Dec ATK safety beats raw poison output; his debuff-extension passive also stretches the poison stack. 6★/a1. HH 9/10 Dragon.

  • DoompriestF

Hard-mode lynchpin — bookless passive strips a debuff and heals ALL allies every turn, cleansing Dec ATK and defusing the poisons on your team before Toxic Incineration lands. HH 8/10 Dragon.

  • UrticataS

DROPPED from the build queue 2026-08-14 — and the Dragon case is narrower than it looks. Her A1 (2 hits × 30% to extend 2 Poisons), backup 25% Poison Sensitivity and A3 Hex are all covered by Supreme Kael (unresistible +1 turn to ALL debuffs), Gwyndolin (extend-all every turn), Frozen Banshee (Sensitivity) and Akemtum's booked A2. Field her when the DoT clock, not the purple bar, is what's failing. 15% SPD aura in all battles. HH 10/10 normal but only 6/10 hard. 4★ built.

  • KaelM

The old farm seat — 6★/a1 AoE poisons still the fastest low-stage farmer; swap back in for speed runs below 20. HH 9/10 Dragon.

  • Dhukk the PiercedM

AoE Dec ATK + crit-proc 60% Dec DEF stacks with the poison engine; DEF-scaling so the AoEs do not kill him. HH 9/10 Dragon. Queue #25

  • High KhatunS

Tempo (Inc SPD + TM fill) for speed-farming normal stages — Apothecary (Magic, terminal 5★ build) does the same job faster. Queue #42

  • Frozen BansheeM

SEATED — THE poison engine (6★ built): A3 Poison Sensitivity +25% poison damage, then up to 2× 5% max-HP poisons per A1. HH 10/10 Dragon.

  • AkemtumV

SEATED — Hex amplifier (6★): Hex on the boss re-fires one poison's damage every tick at 80% (100% booked), near-doubling team DoT output; 18% SPD aura covers the tempo slot. HH 10/10; needs ACC to land Hex.

  • Supreme KaelV

SEATED — 6★ built, HH 10/10 Dragon. Unresistible triple poisons + unresistible all-debuff extension + team Inc ACC + unresistible Dec RES, on a Void body.

  • TaurusM

Second AoE max-HP poisoner (four 5% Poisons at 80%, 100% booked) + single-target 75% Weaken; self-Unkillable tech survives the stun turns. HH 9/10 Dragon. 4★ built — but see the debuff-cap lever before stacking a fourth poison applier.

  • FenshiF

DEF-ignore single-target burst that scales with poison stacks — a purple-bar check answer. HH 9/10 Dragon. Queue #7, 4★ built.

  • Myciliac Priest OrnS

RATING RESOLVED 2026-08-19 — HellHades' endpoint now answers for him at 10/10 Dragon (8/10 hard), confirming the record's 5; the old 'UNVERIFIED' flag is withdrawn. Ayumilove still says 4★, a one-tier split. Poison engine on an Epic body: A3 AoE places two 5% Poisons + 25% Poison Sensitivity (50% base, 75% booked) and self-heals per poison; A2 instantly ACTIVATES up to two poisons on the target, converting queued ticks into immediate damage for the purple-bar check — the only owned answer of that kind. Queue #31.

  • Crypt-King GraalM

Second DoT line that doesn't crowd the poison cap the same way: A2 AoE HP Burn at 75% (100% booked), and A3 extends every existing burn to 3 turns — Ayumilove states that extension cannot be resisted. The Freeze half does nothing here (Freeze-immune under Almighty Immunity). 33% HP aura in all battles. HH 8/10 Dragon, 8/10 hard. Queue #12.

  • Bowf the RancidS

Hard-mode tech: AoE Dec ACC + poison mitigation + cleanse directly answers the doubled poison application. HH 9/10 Dragon. 4★ built.

  • Ostrox BoneglaiveV

The hard-mode build target, and the audit found the mechanic that justifies him: HH 10/10 Dragon AND 10/10 Dragon Hard (Ayumi 5★/5★), the best pair on the roster. A2 Spinal Surge lands AoE [Block Buffs] at 75% — dead weight in normal mode (Hellrazor buffs nothing) but live against Tainted Hellrazor's self-applied 50% Increase ATK. A3 Death Perception removes 1 random debuff from ALL allies and grants 50% Increase ACC (CD 6→4 booked). A1 transfers one of his own debuffs onto the target and heals the lowest-HP ally 10% of HIS MAX HP. Aura: +40 Ally ACC in all battles, the roster's second-largest. 4★, queue #35 — the one build that would change this team's hard-mode ceiling.

  • TorturehelmF

Dragon specialist (his one elite content) — HP-scaled single-target nukes; swap into the burst seat when the poison core is split across Clan Boss. HH 9/10 Dragon. 4★ built.

  • He-ManM

Raw damage depth when the DoT clock is too slow. Queue #37

  • AnaxS

Budget amp — Dec DEF / Weaken / Poison in one 6★/a1 body if a poison seat is parked elsewhere. HH 8/10 Dragon.

  • VogothS

Passive tank-healer sustain alternative to Rector — heals all allies 50% of damage he takes. 6★/a1. HH 8/10 Dragon.

  • ApothecaryM

Tempo/heal swap the levers lean on — Inc SPD + TM + heal every rotation. Terminal 5★ build, done. HH 8/10 Dragon (recorded as 5).

  • HotatsuM

Dec ATK + team Inc DEF/heal + 25% DEF aura — sustain seat that still contributes AoE Dec ATK on the waves. Queue #22

  • Xanthe SeaflowerF

AoE 75% Dec ATK that heals 5% of her MAX HP per debuff landed — wave-wide heals.

  • Stag KnightS

60% Dec DEF + 50% Dec ATK in ONE body — compresses two debuff seats to free a damage slot. 6★.

  • Rhaia the MournedV

6★ Legendary — HH 9/10 Dragon, 8/10 hard. A2 ignores 15% DEF plus 5% more per buff she carries (to 35%) and pierces Block Damage — real single-target burst for the purple-bar check; A1 self-heals 30% of damage dealt so she survives the AoEs without a Lifesteal set. C.RATE and C.DMG targets already met: the burst swap that needs no build work.

  • Keberon the UnderflameF

NEW Legendary — HH 8/10: AoE HP Burn is a second DoT line alongside the poison core (burns are not poison, so Blight-style poison blocks and the 10-debuff cap pressure both treat them separately), and his A2 ignores Shield and Unkillable for the purple-bar check.

Alternative Comps

Ideal (fully built)

dream team

If every owned champ were 6★, booked and geared — the build-goal lineup for NORMAL stages. As of 2026-08-19 this is IDENTICAL to Team Now: Royal Guard was seated early by choice, so nothing separates the two lineups except books.

ZERO seats differ from Team Now. Royal Guard was moved into the live five on 2026-08-19 rather than waiting for the trigger this record used to name — Frozen Banshee's A3 books — so the gap between Now and Ideal is entirely booking. WHY HE HOLDS THE SEAT: A2 Takedown attacks ALL enemies for 2 ATK + 0.1 ENEMY MAX HP, exactly at the Almighty Strength cap, and that MAX-HP half is independent of his gear. WHAT IT COST: Gwyndolin's per-turn extend-all was patching the hole left by Banshee's unbooked A3 (2-turn Poison Sensitivity on a 5-turn cooldown), and Supreme Kael's unresistible +1 turn (CD 4) is now the only thing covering it — which makes Banshee's A3 books (CD 5→3) the most valuable action on this dungeon by a distance. LEADER: Frozen Banshee's +35 Ally ACC in all battles while ACC is still gear-limited, then Akemtum's 18% SPD once every body clears its target — poison ticks neither crit nor scale with ATK, so SPD is the only aura that grows the engine, and Royal Guard's own +35% ATK dungeon aura does nothing for them. TWO CAVEATS THAT SURVIVE: Bad-el-Kazar's Prey Upon (+20% vs Poisoned) does NOT amplify Takedown's best half, because Almighty Strength caps MAX-HP-scaling damage at 10% per hit and Takedown already sits at the cap — only the 2×ATK portion benefits; and Royal Guard is a NORMAL-mode seat only (Ayumi 3★, HH 7/10 hard), so hard mode reverts to Gwyndolin or runs the cleanse-density alt. Book order after Banshee's A3: Akemtum A2 Hex (CD 5→3, chance to 100%), then Royal Guard's A1/A3 chance books. Account-wide only Kael and Aox are fully booked.

Hard mode — cleanse density

Tainted Hellrazor

Hard-mode Dragon (Tainted Hellrazor), where Toxic Incineration instantly activates four 5% Poisons on your team behind an unavoidable Stun and a full Turn Meter wipe.

REBUILT 2026-09-01: Starsage Galathir replaces Ostrox Boneglaive AND takes the leader slot. HE COVERS OSTROX'S ENTIRE KIT: Ostrox is AoE Block Buffs + AoE 50% Increase ACC + cleanse + debuff reflect; Galathir's alt-form A3 Dark Nebula places the same 50% Increase ACC (plus a 50% Decrease RES), his alt-form A2 Eclipse Rend REMOVES ALL BUFFS — which strips Tainted Hellrazor's 50% Increase ATK, the exact job Ostrox's Block Buffs existed for — and his alt-form passive transfers control debuffs back at 50%. Eclipse Rend's Block Active Skills half is dead here (Almighty Immunity). WHAT HE ADDS: base-form A2 Stellar Embryo removes ALL debuffs from ALL allies, heals them 25% of HIS MAX HP, fills TM 15% and places 2-turn BLOCK DEBUFFS — prevention rather than cure against a kill mechanic that detonates poisons already on the team (CD 4 against Wall of Fire's CD 3, so it is a timed button, not a blanket); A3 Part The Veil revives all dead allies at 50% HP/TM under Perfect Veil; his passive cuts damage 5% per 100 RES to a 25% cap and holds him at 1 HP on a fatal hit, then equalises team HP. THE AURA IS THE SLEEPER: 80 Ally RES in ALL battles is the account's only real RES lead and speaks directly to Ayumilove's 300+ RES requirement for supports at stage 20. Handing the lead over from Frozen Banshee costs 35 ACC, covered twice over by Galathir's own 50% Increase ACC and Supreme Kael's. AND HE IS FOUR ASCENSION LEVELS CLOSER: 6★ today (gear, books and awakening only) against Ostrox at 4★. Fresh HH 2026-09-01: Galathir 10/10 Dragon AND 10/10 Dragon Hard, matching Ostrox and Bad-el-Kazar for the best pair on the roster, on a 10/10 overall body. CAVEAT: two-form champion, so form state is not player-controlled on full auto — this is a manually-played hard-mode seat.
