Cleanse / Heal (stun answer) — 6★ and bookless by design. Bolster removes 1 random debuff from EVERY ally and heals them 7.5% at the start of her turn — on Demon Lord the Crushing Force stun is normally the only ally debuff, so it functions as a per-turn stun cleanse, and Relentless chains it. The Brutal→NM→UNM key. Force body — never weak on the dangerous Magic phase.

Swap — Sustain alt (Force = neutral, 6★, gear all green, works bookless): Bolster strips 1 random debuff per ally every turn and heals — shrugs off the unresistible Dec ATK, Quake's Stun and the minion Heal Reduction. Ayumilove 4★ Force Keep. Take her over Rector specifically when the CC/Heal-Red is what's killing the run.

Cleanse / per-turn heal — 6★, bookless — Bolster heals all allies 7.5% of their HP AND removes 1 random debuff from them at the start of her turn. Buff-independent, so the right minion cannot switch it off. Honest arithmetic: he applies 2 poisons a turn and she strips 1, so she is the floor rather than the whole answer — the sustain seat covers the rest.

Swap — Ayumi 5★, 6★ built. Bolster strips a debuff from every ally and heals them every turn — the standing answer to the left minion's AoE Dec ATK — and she needs no books. Gives no buff of her own, so pair her with a second buff source.

Swap — Hard-mode lynchpin — bookless passive strips a debuff and heals ALL allies every turn, cleansing Dec ATK and defusing the poisons on your team before Toxic Incineration lands. HH 8/10 Dragon.

Swap — HH 8/10 — level with Rector Drath. Per-turn AoE cleanse strips poison stacks and her Bolster passive heals 7.5% MAX HP (not damage-based); bookless. The Rector alternative on poison-heavy stages, though she heals far less.

Cleanse + sustain — 6★, works bookless. Bolster heals all allies 7.5% and removes ONE RANDOM debuff from each at the start of her turn — a per-turn probabilistic strip of Numbing Chill's Dec ACC and the minions' Heal Reduction, not a guaranteed full cleanse. Force body, chains on Relentless. HH 9/10 normal / 8 hard (re-verified 2026-08-26), Ayumi 5★ normal / 4★ hard. RE-CHECKED against Khamir Scald-Eye this audit: his kit has zero cleanse (verified vs Ayumilove), so his HH 9/10 does not threaten this seat. Bad-el-Kazar takes it once booked (see Ideal).

Hex cleanse + heal — 6★, bookless. Bolster passive heals all allies 7.5% MAX HP AND strips 1 random debuff from every ally at the start of her turn — the only always-on answer to a 5-turn unresistable Hex on auto; one-shot cleanses on 4–5 turn cooldowns cannot cover it. Ayumilove rates her Minotaur 5★ (champions.json still says 4).

Swap — Displaced incumbent, and the lowest-rated body the old team fielded: HH 2/10, Ayumi 1★. Her per-turn cleanse does help against the boss A1's Dec SPD / Dec ACC, but the 7.5% passive heal is far too small against 5%-per-attack MAX HP destruction, and no amount of cleansing answers Feasting Swarm, which ignores Shield, Block Damage, Unkillable and 100% of DEF.

Swap — 6★, bookless, HH 7/10 — the emergency cleanser now that Bad-el-Kazar holds the seat properly. Bolster heals all allies 7.5% and removes 1 RANDOM debuff from them at the start of her turn, so Provoke removal is a coin flip rather than a guarantee. Ayumi rates her Chimera 3★ against HH's 7/10. Her aura only helps Force allies.

Swap — 6★ and completely bookless — Bolster heals all allies 7.5% and strips one debuff from each of them at the start of every one of her turns. That is the standing answer to Suffering's unavoidable 25% Weaken (it cannot be resisted or blocked, only cleansed), Decay's 100% Heal Reduction and Blight's poison stacks, and every cleanse also helps Rector's Perfect Veil land (it only lands on full-HP allies). Needs no ACC. Now the Second Key anchor.

Sustain seat — floor-dependent — 6★ bookless — Bolster is a PASSIVE (heals all allies 7.5% + removes 1 random debuff at the start of her turn), so it keeps working through skill-lock. Ayumi Floors 5★ and 5★ on six of the eight bosses — better than the record credited her. Yields the default to Bad-el-Kazar only once he is 6★ (his Malice cleanse is a 5-turn CD vs her per-turn strip), and stays the pick on debuff-heavy floors, Nether Spider and Eternal Dragon (A 5★ / H 10 each). 2026-07-27 audit.
