The Fight

A 65-turn endurance fight (13 phases × 5 turns), not a burst race. The boss cycles Ultimate → Ram → Ultimate → Lion → Ultimate → Viper, twice, and Unholy Metamorph strips ALL buffs/debuffs on every transform. IMMUNITIES (verified fresh against Ayumilove's Chimera guide, and broader than this record previously stated): the Chimera cannot be affected by Petrification, Stun, Freeze, Sleep, PROVOKE, Block Active Skills, Block Passive Skills, Fear, True Fear, Berserk, Enfeeble, Nullify, Ensnare, Fatigue or Hunter's Gaze. The Provoke immunity is seat-relevant — Vogoth's A2 lands nothing here (its 50% Decrease ATK only applies to targets that received Provoke from that same skill), and Shu-Zhen's A1 Block Active Skills rider is likewise dead. Ultimate is the dangerous baseline: AoE + Provoke on YOUR champions (2 turns if they are under 50% HP), Pincer Lash (CD 3) gains +10% damage per debuff ON the Chimera and also grants the boss a 30% Increase SPD buff, Consume Matter (CD 3) removes all your buffs before attacking and gains +10% damage per buff removed, and Transfixing Presence takes 10% less damage per BUFFLESS ally (caps at 50%) AND 50% less damage from any of your champions under Provoke — so Ultimate's Provoke is a damage tax, not just a survival one, and cleanse is a scoring lever. Keep cheap buffs rolling. RAM duels your lowest-C.DMG champ: the target is locked to A1, the duel bar is 1% of boss max HP, and the CONFLICT THIS RECORD PREVIOUSLY FLAGGED IS RESOLVED — Ayumilove states the other allies suffer REDUCED DAMAGE OUTPUT; there is no 25% reflect. The Chimera also gains a 50% damage bonus against the dueling champion, and every buff it successfully strips during the duel raises its damage against them further. Ram has the highest ACC of all forms, so the bait wants high RES as well as zero C.DMG. LION marks your highest-DEF champ with Hunter's Gaze and ignores every defensive layer (Shield/Strengthen/Ally Protection/Veil/Perfect Veil/Unkillable/Block Damage/Inc DEF) — only raw HP + healing survives it. VIPER stacks unremovable 5%-max-HP Necrosis on every survivor per ally death; reviving fallen allies reduces the stacks proportionally (Stone Skin only suppresses). Debuff priority: Dec ATK + Dec SPD + Leech (survival) → Dec DEF / Weaken / HP Burn / Poison (damage; DoT ticks are capped per difficulty), plus heavy sustain.

Affinity

Affinity rotates on a 28-day cycle: Ram/Lion/Viper share one affinity and Ultimate uses a different one — no single affinity week, check the rotation monthly. Void (Supreme Kael and Shu-Zhen on the bench) is never at a disadvantage; Gwyndolin, Geomancer and Bad-el-Kazar are Force, Stag Knight and Vogoth are Spirit, so this Team Now is Force-heavy — check the month before a serious push and consider the Supreme Kael or Shu-Zhen swap on a bad Force rotation. Debuffs need ACC ≈ boss RES + 25 (flat rule, 3% floor both ways); RES rises with difficulty tier, so retune per tier — Trials empower Ultimate's offense, not its RES. With Gwyndolin leading (+60 ACC all battles), her A3 Inc ACC and Stag Knight's on-resist Inc ACC passive, this core still clears the ACC check, but note it now carries two Inc ACC sources rather than three: Supreme Kael's A3 Inc ACC and his unresistable 50% Dec RES both leave with him, so re-check the ACC bar at higher tiers and bring him back if debuffs start missing.

Levers

  • Targeting is a stat you control, and it now has TWO contenders. Ram = lowest C.DMG: give Vogoth ZERO C.DMG substats and keep everyone else a few points above him. This is newly delicate — Bad-el-Kazar's own build guidance skips ATK and crit entirely (his damage is Poison scaling off enemy MAX HP), so he will drift to lowest C.DMG unless you deliberately pad him above Vogoth. Fahrakin has the same problem in the Ideal comp: his A3 buffs 30% C.RATE / 30% C.DMG onto all allies EXCEPT himself. Lion = highest DEF: keep it deliberate, pad that champion to 20k+ HP, and remember Hunter's Gaze ignores Inc DEF, Shield, Veil/Perfect Veil, Unkillable, Block Damage and Ally Protection, so only raw HP + healing carries them through the 5-turn window.
  • Sets/stats: Vogoth Lifesteal/Stalwart, 50k+ HP, ~120 ACC, zero C.DMG, AND add RES — Ram has the highest ACC of any form and every buff it strips during the duel raises its damage against the bait, which this record previously under-weighted. Gwyndolin Speed+Accuracy, ACC as high as you can push (it is both her landing stat and her C.DMG scaler); Stag Knight Speed+Accuracy, ACC to tier RES +25; Geomancer Lifesteal+Accuracy, 180+ ACC (raise per tier); Bad-el-Kazar ACC → RES → SPD → bulk, but keep his C.DMG clear of Vogoth's floor.
  • One leader aura only, and it must be live in this content. Gwyndolin's +60 Ally ACC in ALL battles is the strongest option on the roster here. Live alternatives: Vogoth +40 ACC, Suzerain Katonn +33% ATK, Geomancer +25% HP, Bad-el-Kazar +25% C.RATE. INERT here: Aox and Rector Drath (Doom Tower only), Valkanen and Shu-Zhen (Arena only — Shu-Zhen's is +30% Ally SPD in Arena battles, confirmed this audit), Doompriest (Force allies only). Fahrakin has no aura at all.
  • Unique-debuff count, corrected. The Chimera is immune to Provoke, so the 'ten unique debuffs' this record used to claim was never ten — Provoke never landed. Team Now lands EIGHT: Dec ATK, Dec DEF, Dec SPD, Dec ACC, Weaken, Leech, HP Burn, Poison. Supreme Kael adds a ninth (unresistable Dec RES) and a second Inc ACC source, so field HIM rather than Bad-el-Kazar when you are specifically chasing the 'N unique debuffs under Increase ACC' trial family; take Bad-el-Kazar for Clash score and survival. The trade either way: every debuff on the Chimera feeds Pincer Lash +10%, so a denser core hits harder AND gets hit harder — hold junk DoTs back during Ultimate windows and lead with the survival debuffs.
  • Pace around the metamorph wipe: never cast a long-cooldown debuff on the boss's last turn of a form — re-apply immediately AFTER each transform and let Gwyndolin's A1 (extends ALL debuffs on the target) and Vogoth's A1 hold them for the 5-turn window. Note that Supreme Kael's A2 (+1 turn to all enemy debuffs) leaves the comp with him, so extension now rests on Gwyndolin and Vogoth alone. Keep cheap re-castable buffs up: the boss takes 10% less damage per BUFFLESS ally, capping at 50%, and Bad-el-Kazar's double Continuous Heal is the cheapest standing source.
  • Cleanse is a DAMAGE lever, not just a safety one, and it is now SEATED: Transfixing Presence gives the Chimera 50% damage reduction against any of your champions under Provoke, and Ultimate applies Provoke in 7 of the 13 windows. Bad-el-Kazar's A2 removes ALL debuffs from all allies and is the deterministic fix — book it 5→3 so it cycles inside every form window. Doompriest remains the emergency alternative, but her Bolster strips only 1 RANDOM debuff per turn.
  • Trials: 9 trials × 3 tiers = 27 completions; every 3 empower Ultimate (Unkillable-ignore/+ATK → Block-Dmg-ignore/+C.DMG → 25% DEF-pen/+C.RATE → … → 100% DEF-pen, plus Stun/Fear/Provoke/etc. immunity). Each completed trial multiplies Clash points, so push until you start dying before turn 65, then back off one step. Because survival is the binding constraint at the frontier, Geomancer's Stoneguard (15% team-wide damage reduction) is the seat to protect — think hard before trading it for Fahrakin, whose Body Block passive pushes 20% of his own incoming damage back onto the team.
  • Roster status corrected 2026-08-21: of the two ceiling raises this record used to name, ONE IS ALREADY DONE. Bad-el-Kazar is 6★ built and now holds a Team Now seat (the record's Ideal note and this lever both previously called him 5★ while its own swaps entry said 6★ BUILT — that contradiction is resolved). The only remaining build gate on the Ideal comp is 6-starring FAHRAKIN THE FAT, who is 4★ and is NOT PRESENT IN data/priority.json at all despite being the highest-ceiling body for this content. Queue him. Rector Drath (6★/a1) remains the built reviver — A3 Spirit Form revives an ally at 60% HP with 60% TM, and reviving is the only thing that sheds Necrosis stacks — so swap him in for Viper-heavy trial depth.
  • ⚠ RAM-BAIT HAZARD ESCALATED 2026-09-01. The Ram Duel locks onto the LOWEST-C.DMG champion, and this record already warns that Bad-el-Kazar's build guidance 'skips ATK and crit entirely', making him a candidate to steal the bait from Vogoth. BOTH new candidates are worse offenders: Galathir's build is RES-only by design and Khamir's is HP%/RES with explicitly no crit. Either could land below Vogoth's deliberate zero C.DMG and take the duel — which would put the fight's designated bait on a healer while the Chimera gains a 50% damage bonus against them and every buff it strips during the duel raises its damage further. ANYONE SEATED HERE MUST BE KEPT MEASURABLY ABOVE VOGOTH IN C.DMG, and with three zero-crit builds in the comp that margin is no longer comfortable.

Swaps

  • The Cowardly LionM

NOT SEATABLE (audit 2026-09-01) despite HH 9/10. The Chimera's immunity list names Fear, True Fear, Enfeeble AND Berserk, so the Fear engine is dead. His A3's team Counterattack + Reflect are useful buffs against Transfixing Presence's buffless tax, but Consume Matter (CD 3) removes all your buffs and gains +10% damage per buff removed — his are not 'cheap' buffs. Suggested rating: 3.

  • Starsage GalathirF

THE HIGHER CEILING, ONE GEAR PROJECT AWAY (recorded 2026-09-01). Fresh HH 10/10 Chimera — the highest score the account owns for this content. He hits every lever: cleanse-as-damage (A2 clears Ultimate's Provoke tax, which is a 50% damage reduction against Provoked champions), cheap buffs rolling, and endurance (25% RES-scaled damage reduction, death prevention at 1 HP, team HP equalisation, full-team revive). His alt-form passive sets his ACC to 75% of his RES, so he needs no accuracy gear on a fight built around an ACC tax. 6★, no gear plan authored. ⚠ Same Ram-bait hazard as Khamir, worse — his build is RES-only.

  • Khamir Scald-EyeM

THE IDEAL FIFTH SEAT (audit 2026-09-01), and his own champion record flagged this content first: reviving fallen allies is the ONLY thing that sheds Viper's unremovable Necrosis stacks, and his A1's destroyed-MAX-HP restore answers the same mechanic from the other side. A3 revives all dead allies (CD 6, →4 booked); A1 heals the whole team twice every turn on a 65-turn attrition fight; A2/A3 keep four team-wide buffs rolling against Transfixing Presence's buffless tax. 6★ BUILT, fresh HH 9/10. ⚠ Keep his C.DMG above Vogoth's or he steals the Ram Duel.

  • Supreme KaelV

DEMOTED FROM A SEAT this audit, and it is close — HH 8/10, 6★, Void so affinity-safe on every rotation. He yields to Bad-el-Kazar because deterministic cleanse beats a ninth debuff in most pushes, but bring him back for two specific cases: the 'N unique debuffs under Increase ACC' trial family (his unresistable 50% Dec RES is the ninth unique debuff and lowers every other debuffer's ACC requirement), and any bad Force rotation, since Team Now is now Force-heavy. A1 AoE 25% Weaken CANNOT BE RESISTED; A2 AoE triple 5% Poison CANNOT BE RESISTED and extends ALL enemy debuffs by 1 turn — the extension this comp otherwise loses; A3 places 50% Inc ACC on all allies. Needs zero ACC investment for his own debuffs.

  • Fahrakin the FatS

The Ideal seat and the only remaining build gate — 4★, and NOT in data/priority.json. HH 9/10, joint-highest owned. Kit re-verified fresh on Ayumilove: A1 Sizzling Strike has NO COOLDOWN and a 40% chance (→50% booked) of 60% Dec DEF for 2 turns, so he attempts shred every turn where Stag Knight is gated to once per four; A2 Brand of Shame (CD 4→3 booked) is 75% for HP Burn plus two 5% Poisons; A3 Beatdown (CD 6→4 booked) puts 30% Inc C.RATE and 30% Inc C.DMG on all allies then focus-fires with them. TWO COSTS THIS RECORD NEVER PRICED: his passive Body Block deflects 20% of all damage he receives onto all allies, spread equally — so seating him in place of Geomancer trades a 15% team damage REDUCTION for a 20% damage SPREAD, a real regression in a 65-turn attrition fight; and A3 excludes HIMSELF from the C.RATE/C.DMG buff, leaving him low-crit and contesting Vogoth for the Ram duel. He also has no aura. Verdict: right seat for Clash scoring, wrong seat when surviving to turn 65 is the constraint. NOTE the 'Ayumi 5★ Chimera' claim previously carried here is unverified — Ayumilove's page shows no Chimera rating; HH 9/10 is the confirmed number.

  • Shu-Zhen the ValorousV

6★ BUILT and HH 9/10 — tied with Gwyndolin and Fahrakin for the highest Chimera rating owned, and the strongest body NOT seated. She stays a swap rather than a starter because her contribution overlaps: the only debuff she puts on the boss is 30% Dec SPD, which Gwyndolin and Stag Knight already supply, so she adds nothing to the unique-debuff trial counter, and her A1's Block Active Skills rider is DEAD (the Chimera is immune). What she is genuinely best at is Clash burst windows: A2 Purging Petals (CD 5→3 booked) grants one ally an Extra Turn plus 50% ATK / 30% C.RATE / 30% C.DMG, and A3 Charge of the Valorous (CD 6→4 booked) fills ally Turn Meters 20% with 30% Inc SPD while cutting the boss's TM 20% with 30% Dec SPD. Her passive sets her ACC equal to her SPD, so she pays no ACC tax, and she is Void. Her aura is Arena-only, so she can never lead here.

  • Rector DrathF

6★/a1, HH 7/10 — THE Necrosis answer. A3 Spirit Form revives 1 ally at 60% HP + 60% TM with a 3-turn Perfect Veil, and reviving is the only thing that sheds Necrosis stacks (Stone Skin merely suppresses them). A2 heals all allies 20% of his MAX HP and hands out Perfect Veil / Continuous Heal — cheap buff uptime against Transfixing Presence. Swap him in for Viper-heavy trial pushes. Caveat: Perfect Veil is one of the layers Lion's Hunter's Gaze ignores outright.

  • GeomancerF

6★/a1, HH 8/10 — starter in Team Now; yields the seat to Fahrakin ONLY in the Ideal comp, and only when Clash score outranks survival. Stoneguard's 15% team-wide damage reduction plus HP-Burn deflect is the best passive survival block owned, and the trial ladder is explicitly gated on not dying before turn 65.

  • DoompriestF

6★, bookless, HH 7/10 — the emergency cleanser now that Bad-el-Kazar holds the seat properly. Bolster heals all allies 7.5% and removes 1 RANDOM debuff from them at the start of her turn, so Provoke removal is a coin flip rather than a guarantee. Ayumi rates her Chimera 3★ against HH's 7/10. Her aura only helps Force allies.

  • MorrigaineM

NEW TO THIS RECORD — 6★ Legendary, HH 8/10 Chimera, and absent from the entry until this audit. Worth evaluating for the DoT-pressure variant and as a Magic-affinity option on a bad Force rotation. Note her hard CC is dead here: the Chimera is immune to Fear, True Fear and every other control debuff on the immunity list, so only her buff-steal and TM manipulation land.

  • AnaxS

6★ Epic, HH 8/10 Chimera — higher than this record implied by listing him only inside the DoT alt comp. Poison + Dec DEF + Weaken from one Spirit body; a legitimate consideration for the unique-debuff trial family.

  • Suzerain KatonnS

6★, HH 8/10, Ayumi 4★ — stacking 60% Dec DEF (45% chance, 75% booked) + 25% Weaken + 30% Dec SPD with real AoE damage, and a +33% Ally ATK all-battles aura if you want offense over Gwyndolin's ACC aura. Spirit, so check the affinity rotation. His 100% Heal Reduction is wasted here.

  • Varkos HeadsplitterF

6★/a5 fully awakened, HH 8/10 — DEF-scaling counterattacker against a boss that swings for 65 turns; his high C.DMG keeps him Ram-proof. Caveat: high DEF makes him a candidate for Lion's Hunter's Gaze, which ignores the Increase DEF his own A3 provides.

  • Aox the RemembererF

6★/a1 — displaced starter and the lowest-rated of the old core on both sources (HH 6/10, Ayumi 3★). Steward of Time only extends 2 RANDOM debuffs on the attacker when he is hit, not the blanket extension this entry once claimed. Still fine in the DoT-pressure comp.

  • LightswornV

6★, HH 7/10 — displaced starter. Stag Knight supersedes his debuff half (60% Dec DEF on top of the same 50% Dec ATK), and his team-wide Revive on Death is a BUFF, so Unholy Metamorph and Consume Matter strip it — unreliable Viper insurance. Still the pick if you want a designated high-DEF Lion soak.

  • ValkanenV

6★, Void — displaced starter. Ayumi rates him Chimera 3★ against HH's 7/10, and the kit explains the gap: Malice Unleashed is gated behind A3 Death's Bargain, which KILLS a living ally — and every ally death stacks unremovable Necrosis on the survivors during Viper. Keep him for Clash burst only if you can afford the death.

  • Ursala the MournerV

4★ Epic, HH 8/10 — A3 Requiem revives EVERY dead ally at 75% HP with 50% TM plus 60% Inc DEF and Strengthen, which sheds Necrosis stacks wholesale and re-buffs the team against Transfixing Presence in the same cast. The strongest Viper insurance owned once built.

  • FayneS

4★, HH 8/10, queue #33 — a 3-turn 60% Dec DEF + 25% Weaken from one skill survives longer between metamorph wipes than most debuffs, and adds two unique debuffs to the trial counter.

  • Countess LixM

5★, HH 8/10, queue #21 — AoE Dec SPD plus cooldown refresh that feeds the Clash nukes. Her Block Active Skills half is DEAD here (the Chimera is immune), which this record did not previously note.

  • Dhukk the PiercedM

4★, HH 8/10, queue #25 — 60% Dec DEF + 50% Dec ATK from one seat (the same compression Stag Knight provides). His Provoke is dead here like everyone's.

  • Vallaryn the EqualizerM

5★ — team-wide Weaken + Leech from one body plus a 28% ATK aura. HH now rates her Chimera 8/10 against the 3 on record; champions.json is a tier low and due a refresh.

  • SkullcrusherF

4★, queue #28 — team Counterattack pressure; caveat: the Lion phase ignores Ally Protection and Unkillable outright.

  • Lady of IrethS

    5★, HH 7/10 — cleanse + crit-heal sustain, the backup to Bad-el-Kazar's A2. Caveat: her auto-Shields are Lion-phase-blind.

  • HotatsuM

4★, queue #22 — AoE 50% Dec ATK for Clash scoring windows + team Inc DEF / Continuous Heal, and a passive self-cleanse that sheds control debuffs. DEF aura.

  • SachiF

Revive-on-death passive sheds Necrosis stacks, plus 50% team ATK and TM fill on crit — Viper-tier offense support.

  • Tidemaster DexikosM

Double revive with TM + AoE heal for Viper pushes. His Shields are dead weight against Lion specifically.

  • DjamarsaF

Full-team revive + cooldown reduction for Viper-heavy trial pushes.

  • Woad-PaintedS

AoE debuff-strip + 100% self-heal with team overheal spill — budget sustain against Viper poisons.

  • Vizier OvelisF

Spammable single-target Dec ATK + solid single-target damage; his self-Veil is ignored by Lion but fine elsewhere.

  • Wyrennon the SilkenS

15% team TM + Inc SPD compresses Clash windows; her revive answers a Ram or Viper kill.

  • SkeletorS

5★/a5 — superseded by Supreme Kael for the Dec RES + Inc ACC role (Kael is 6★ and his Dec RES cannot be resisted). His Petrify is dead here — the Chimera is immune to Petrification.

  • UrticataS

DoT-pressure alt comp: extends Frozen Banshee / Anax poisons plus a Sensitivity amp for sustained phase damage. Owned, 4★, unbuilt; dropped from the build queue 2026-08-14.

Alternative Comps

Ideal (fully built)

dream team

If every owned champ were 6★, booked and geared. UPDATED 2026-09-01: Khamir Scald-Eye takes the fifth seat from Fahrakin the Fat.

KHAMIR WAS ALREADY FLAGGED FOR THIS CONTENT BY HIS OWN CHAMPION RECORD, which named the mechanic precisely: reviving fallen allies is the only thing that sheds Viper's unremovable Necrosis stacks, and his A1's destroyed-MAX-HP restore answers the same mechanic from the other side. A3 Death Is Weakness revives ALL dead allies at 50% HP/TM (CD 6, →4 booked). On a 65-turn attrition fight his A1's per-turn team heal compounds, and A2/A3 keep four team-wide buffs rolling against Transfixing Presence's 10%-per-buffless-ally damage reduction. 6★ BUILT, fresh HH 9/10. HIGHER-CEILING ALTERNATIVE — STARSAGE GALATHIR, fresh HH 10/10, the highest Chimera score the account owns: he hits every lever this record names (A2 removes all debuffs from all allies, clearing Ultimate's Provoke DAMAGE tax; Block Debuffs, Perfect Veil and 50% Increase ACC are three separate team-wide buffs; 25% RES-scaled damage reduction, death prevention at 1 HP, team HP equalisation and a full-team revive for the endurance), and his alt-form passive sets his ACC to 75% of his RES so he needs no accuracy gear on a fight organised around an ACC tax. Khamir wins today only because he is geared. ⚠ SEE THE RAM-BAIT LEVER BEFORE SEATING EITHER.

DoT pressure

poison/burn variant

Bad-affinity rotations — DoT ticks don't weak-hit, so when your hitters are affinity-weak the tick engine out-scores crits.

Supreme Kael now anchors this comp in place of Aox, which was already flagged as the upgrade path in the previous note and is applied here: his triple Poisons cannot be resisted (no ACC tax at all), his A2 extends ALL enemy debuffs by 1 turn rather than Aox's 2 random ones, and being Void he never weak-hits on the very rotation this comp exists for. Frozen Banshee (Poison Sensitivity + double 5% Poisons per turn) + Anax (Poison + Dec DEF + Weaken, HH 8/10 here) + Geomancer (HP Burn + Stoneguard) keep capped-but-permanent tick damage rolling through all 65 turns while Vogoth eats Ram and Lion. All five are 6★. Caveats: Poison/HP Burn ticks are capped per difficulty (this variant plateaus at high tiers), every DoT on the boss feeds Pincer Lash +10%, and Banshee needs heavy ACC gear to keep poisons landing. This comp carries no cleanse — expect the Provoke damage tax in Ultimate windows.
