Void Keep — Malek Kavar
Keeps · 5 champions
The Fight▾
Farmable Sundays only (half the window — carried from the prior record, not re-verified by the 2026-07 audit). Malek's A1 Grim Reaper AoEs two 5% MAX-HP Poisons for 3 turns and they CANNOT be resisted, so RES is worthless; only cleanse, Block Debuffs or out-healing answers them. A2 Bane (5-turn CD) detonates every poison on your team at once — the wipe button. Almighty Immunity blanks Stun/Freeze/Sleep/Provoke/Block Active Skills/Fear/True Fear plus HP-exchange, HP-balancing and cooldown-increase effects. Two minions matter: the LEFT applies AoE Weaken, the RIGHT removes buffs and blocks buff application — which shuts off every buff-based answer (Shield, Block Debuffs, Perfect Veil, Increase SPD) until it dies, so cleanse and raw heals are the robust plan and AoE damage that deletes the right minion early buys back your buff economy. Beat him by stripping the poison every turn and racing him down with % MAX-HP damage before Bane comes off cooldown.
Team
Supreme KaelV6★ built, Void — A2 Putrescene lays three UNRESISTIBLE 5% Poisons on all enemies and extends every enemy debuff by 1 turn (also unresistible); A3 gives the team 50% Increase ACC and an unresistible 50% Decrease RES; A1 Weaken is unresistible too. Needs zero ACC of his own and makes everyone else's debuffs land. Passive Degrade cuts the boss's ACC/C.RATE/C.DMG 3% per Poison.5★
Frozen BansheeM6★ built — A3 Frost Blight plants 25% Poison Sensitivity, then A1 lands two 80%-chance 5% Poisons per turn off HIS max HP, which is the right damage currency against this HP pool. Aura +35 Ally ACC in all battles is the only live aura on this lineup and is exactly what Stag Knight and her own resistible poisons need.5★
DoompriestF6★, bookless — Bolster heals all allies 7.5% of their HP AND removes 1 random debuff from them at the start of her turn. Buff-independent, so the right minion cannot switch it off. Honest arithmetic: he applies 2 poisons a turn and she strips 1, so she is the floor rather than the whole answer — the sustain seat covers the rest.5★
Aox the RemembererF6★/awk1 and FULLY BOOKED — seated on the fight rather than the rating. A2 heals all allies 10% MAX HP plus 2.5% per debuff on the target, so in a comp that keeps 6–9 debuffs on Malek it is a ~30% AoE heal on a booked 3-turn cycle, and it is a heal (not a buff) so the right minion cannot block it. Booked A3 drops his Turn Meter 20% at 100% chance to push Bane back. Passive extends 2 debuffs on the attacker by 1 turn each time he is hit, and Malek AoEs everyone. Note his 50% Dec ATK only cuts the A1 HIT — it does nothing to the poison, which is what actually kills you.4★
Stag KnightS6★ — A2 Huntmaster is an AoE with a 70% chance of 60% Decrease DEF AND 50% Decrease ATK for 2 turns on a 4-turn cycle, so one seat covers both, and the AoE is what deletes the buff-stripping right minion. Passive hands an ally 50% Increase ACC whenever their debuff is resisted, so the ACC floor self-corrects. Dec DEF only amps direct hits here — poison ignores DEF.5★Affinity
Affinity-agnostic — Void boss, nobody hits weak or strong, so raw kit and build state decide every seat. Bring % MAX-HP damage plus cleanse. Don't over-stack MAX HP anywhere on the team: his Poison scales with YOUR max HP, which also makes an HP aura (Melga's +15%) actively counterproductive here — prefer Frozen Banshee's +35 ACC or, once built, Royal Guard's +35% dungeon ATK.
Levers
- ›Cleanse throughput is the survival math: Malek applies 2 unresistible poisons per turn and Doompriest's Bolster strips 1 per turn, so the deficit has to be covered by heals (Aox's debuff-scaling A2 today, Bad-el-Kazar's cleanse-all once he is 6★) or by killing him before the stack matters.
- ›His poisons cannot be resisted — RES gear does nothing here. Cleanse (Doompriest, Bad-el-Kazar), heals, or racing him down are the counters.
- ›Block Debuffs and Shield plans are unreliable until the RIGHT minion is dead: it removes buffs and blocks buff application. That downgrades Spirithost, Sepulcher Sentinel, Melga's Shield, Rector Drath's Perfect Veil and High Khatun's Increase SPD to post-minion tools. Prioritise AoE damage on the minions.
- ›Poison ignores DEF, so Decrease DEF only amplifies direct hits — the % MAX-HP poison stack (Supreme Kael's unresistible triple poison + Frozen Banshee's Sensitivity engine) is the main clock, not the shred.
- ›A2 Bane detonates all standing poisons on a 5-turn cooldown — either be clean by then or be dead. Turn-meter drain (Aox booked A3, Royal Guard's A3, Countess Lix's A2) pushes that clock out; Increase SPD buffs do not, because they get stripped.
- ›Keep MAX HP modest on the whole team — his poison hurts more the tankier you are.
- ›He doesn't heal or buff himself and can't be CC'd — leave Heal Reduction / Block Buffs / Freeze / Provoke kits (Katonn's A3, Ovelis's, Gliseah's Everwinter, Countess Lix's Block Active Skills) at home as utilities; bring those champions only for raw damage or their other halves.
- ›ACC support is cheap here: Supreme Kael's unresistible 50% Decrease RES plus his team Increase ACC, Frozen Banshee's +35 aura, and Stag Knight's resist-triggered Increase ACC passive stack into a self-correcting floor.
- ›GALATHIR IS THE DIRECT ANSWER TO THE CLEANSE DEFICIT (recorded 2026-09-01), and he contests Aox's seat. This record states the problem exactly: 'Malek applies 2 unresistible poisons per turn and Doompriest's Bolster strips 1 per turn, so the deficit has to be covered by heals', with A2 Bane detonating every standing poison on a 5-turn cooldown — 'either be clean by then or be dead'. Galathir's base-form A2 Stellar Embryo removes ALL debuffs from ALL allies on CD 4, INSIDE Bane's CD 5, which flips that deficit into a surplus alongside Doompriest's per-turn strip. The same skill heals the team 25% of HIS MAX HP and applies BLOCK DEBUFFS — which this record itself names as one of only three answers to unresistible poisons. His passive cuts damage 5% per 100 RES to a 25% cap and holds him at 1 HP on a fatal hit; A3 revives the team. Malek is Void, so every affinity is neutral and his Force body costs nothing. THE HONEST COST: Aox brings AoE 50% Decrease ATK, a debuff-scaling AoE heal worth ~30% in this comp, debuff extension, and a BOOKED A3 Turn Meter drain that these levers specifically credit with pushing Bane's clock out — Galathir replaces the heal and the cleanse but not the TM denial. CAVEAT already in this record: Block Debuffs is unreliable until the RIGHT minion is dead, since it blocks buff application; the cleanse half is buff-independent and works regardless.
Swaps
- Armanz the MagnificentM
THE STRONGEST BANE-DELAY TOOL OWNED (added 2026-09-01), and the reason is a gap in Malek's immunity list worth recording: TURN METER MANIPULATION IS NOT ON IT. The list covers Stun, Freeze, Sleep, Provoke, Block Active Skills, Fear, True Fear, HP-exchange, HP-balancing and cooldown-increase — no TM clause. Armanz's A2 Greatest Hits steals ALL of a target's Turn Meter, well beyond Aox's booked 20% drop, Royal Guard's A3 or Countess Lix's A2, all three of which these levers already credit for pushing that clock out. His curated void-keep 4 is probably a tier low. 5★, queue #2.
- Starsage GalathirF
THE AOX-SEAT ALTERNATIVE — see the levers for the full case (recorded 2026-09-01). Full-team cleanse on CD 4 inside Bane's CD 5, plus Block Debuffs prevention, a 25%-of-his-MAX-HP team heal, a RES-scaled 25% damage-reduction passive, death prevention and a full-team revive. Trades away Aox's Decrease ATK, debuff extension and booked TM drain. 6★, no gear plan authored.
- Bad-el-KazarF
6★ BUILT (2026-07-30) — the single biggest upgrade this keep can get, and it is available today rather than queued. A2 Malice removes ALL debuffs from all allies + double 15% Continuous Heal + double 5% AoE Poison, and his passive gives EVERY ally +20% damage against Poisoned targets, a global multiplier the poison comp has nowhere else. 25% C.RATE aura. Ayumi Void Keep 5★. Takes the sustain seat the moment he is 6★.
- Royal GuardM
6★ BUILT — Ayumi Void Keep 5★. A2 Takedown AoEs for 2 ATK + 10% of each target's MAX HP (a third MAX-HP damage stream) and A3 Hamstring hits 4× with 60% chances of 30% Dec SPD and −25% Turn Meter, the best owned tool for pushing Bane out. 35% Ally ATK dungeon aura.
- Rector DrathF
6★/awk1, Ayumi Void Keep 5★ — the pure-sustain alternative to Aox: A2 heals all allies 20% of HIS max HP. Bring him for raw healing only; the Perfect Veil half and his veil-gated passive are unreliable while the right minion is blocking buffs, and his +55 RES aura is Doom Tower-only and worthless against unresistible poison.
- ValkanenV
6★ and fully geared, but Ayumi Void Keep 4★ — every multiplier is ATK-scaling, which is the wrong currency against a big MAX-HP pool on a race clock. Displaced from the Nuke seat by Supreme Kael; keep him for Hydra / Arena / Doom Tower Floors / Faction Wars.
- AnaxS
6★/awk1, Ayumi Void Keep 4★ — displaced by Stag Knight, whose Dec DEF is AoE at 70% for 60% versus Anax's single-target 30%/hit (35% booked), and who bundles Dec ATK in the same skill. Anax's Dec ACC and poison still make him a fine filler body.
- High KhatunS
5★, Ayumi Void Keep 4★, Queue #42 — displaced from the Tempo seat. Her Increase SPD is a buff and the right minion strips and blocks buffs; TM drain (Aox, Royal Guard, Countess Lix) delays Bane more reliably.
- AlureM
6★ BUILT — Ayumi Void Keep 5★. Her A1 cuts the target's Turn Meter 25% on EVERY critical hit across 3 random hits, the cheapest sustained Bane-clock delay on the roster. Note her A2's Sleep rider is dead on the boss (Almighty Immunity) but works on the waves.
- Countess LixM
5★, Queue #21 — Ayumi Void Keep 5★. A2 Mire of Misery hits all enemies 3× with 75% chances of 30% Dec SPD and a 10% TM cut each, which steals Bane turns. Half of her A3 is dead here — Malek is immune to Block Active Skills — but the 'decrease all ally cooldowns by 1' half still accelerates the rotation.
- Supreme KaelV
SEATED (Team Now) — Ayumi 5★ in every keep except Spirit Keep; 6★ built and Void, so safe in every rotation.
- Melga SteelgirdleS
4★, Queue #23 — Ayumi Void Keep 5★. A2 Shields the team for 20% of her MAX HP + 15% Continuous Heal, and A3 revives 2 allies through a Bane detonation. Two caveats: the Shield is a buff the right minion can strip or block, and her +15% Ally HP aura raises the MAX-HP poison damage the whole team takes.
- Suzerain KatonnS
6★, Ayumi Void Keep 4★ — AoE Dec DEF + Weaken speeds the pre-boss waves, and his A3 strips Shield / Block Damage / Unkillable. His 100% Heal Reduction is dead weight here: Malek never heals.
- UrticataS
4★, DROPPED from the build queue 2026-08-14 — second 25% Poison Sensitivity carrier plus A1 poison-duration extension and a 15% SPD aura in ALL battles. Feeds the same Kael/Banshee poison engine; Ayumi rates her Void Keep 3★, so she is depth rather than an upgrade.
- AkemtumV
6★, Void, Ayumi Void Keep 4★ — his Hex Blood passive duplicates poison damage onto Hexed enemies, which is strong while the two minions are alive and does nothing once Malek stands alone. A wave-phase piece, not a boss-phase one.
- Dhukk the PiercedM
4★, Queue #25 — Ayumi Void Keep 5★. AoE 50% Dec ATK + 60% Dec DEF on a 3-turn booked cycle. His triple-Provoke half is dead on the boss (immune) but clears the waves.
- Fahrakin the FatS
4★ — Ayumi Void Keep 5★. A1 60% Dec DEF, A2 adds HP Burn plus two 5% Poisons that feed the same MAX-HP damage plan.
- Skimfos the ConsumedV
4★, Void — Ayumi Void Keep 5★. Pulls non-CC debuffs off allies onto himself and self-heals 5% MAX HP per debuff, which turns the unresistible poison into sustain. The fallback cleanse concept if Doompriest is committed elsewhere.
- ApothecaryM
Ayumi Void Keep 5★ — cheap Rare tempo (30% Inc SPD + 15% team TM fill, plus a 35% single-target heal). NOTE: priority.json lists him as 6★ done while champions.json still says 5★; confirm his star level before seating him.
- SpirithostS
3★ — AoE Cleanse + Block Debuffs. Downgraded by this audit: the right minion blocks buff application, so the Block Debuffs half is unreliable until that minion is dead. The cleanse half still works.
- Grunch KilljoyF
4★, Ayumi Void Keep 4★ — backup AoE cleanse-and-heal on a booked 4-turn cycle plus a bomb-driven team TM engine.
- Defiled SinnerF
4★, Ayumi Void Keep 4★ — A1 goes AoE with self Inc ATK while 5+ enemies stand and A3 scales with enemy count; a wave-floor accelerator, not a boss piece.
- Vizier OvelisF
5★, Queue #6, Ayumi Void Keep 4★ — second single-target debuff-nuker. His Heal Reduction and Block Buffs do nothing to Malek; bring him for the Dec ATK and raw damage only.
Alternative Comps
Ideal (fully built)
dream teamIf every owned champ were 6★ + geared + booked — the build-goal lineup.
The full MAX-HP damage plan with a double-cleanse spine. Supreme Kael and Frozen Banshee stack unresistible and Sensitivity-fed poisons that tick off Malek's own max HP; Royal Guard adds a third MAX-HP stream (A2: 2 ATK + 10% enemy MAX HP) and the A3 Dec SPD / TM cut that pushes Bane out, and his 35% dungeon ATK aura leads the team. Bad-el-Kazar wipes every debuff off the whole team on a cooldown that lines up with Bane, double Continuous-Heals through the gaps, and his passive gives all allies +20% damage against Poisoned targets — a multiplier nothing else on the roster provides. Doompriest strips per-turn between his cycles. Differs from Team Now in two seats: Bad-el-Kazar (already 6★) replaces Aox the Rememberer, Royal Guard (6★ BUILT) replaces Stag Knight. Aox stays the closest swap — he is 6★ AND fully booked today, and his debuff-scaling AoE heal is the reason Team Now holds. Books to finish: Supreme Kael A2 (chance + Cooldown −1), Frozen Banshee A3 (double Cooldown −1, 5→3).
