DEF-based bruiser: A2 strips all enemy Shields then AoE-hits with a chance of 60% Decrease DEF; self-Shield + Increase DEF + 50% TM fill and takes 15% less damage while shielded.

Reworked kit — old guides are obsolete; HH API and Ayumi (updated 2026-06-20) now agree on the current kit. Competes with Warmaiden for the Barbarians AoE Decrease DEF seat; Valla trades Warmaiden's reliability for durability (self-Shield + DR passive) and shield-stripping. NOT Vallaryn the Equalizer.

BuildDEF-scaling nuker-bruiser: crit-cap then stack C.DMG on a DEF% base. Needs some ACC only if you care about the A2 Decrease DEF landing (30% base per hit — unreliable; book it). A1 hits 15% harder into Shielded targets and A2 strips Shields, so she counters shield comps. Impulse/Zeal keep A2 (4-turn CD, books to 3) up more often.
